Abdelhakim Serrar was born on the 24th April 1961. He is a
former Algerian international football player. He was among the Algerian
national team that won the 1990 African Cup of Nations and one of the few
players of the national team that won the Afro-Asian Cup for both club and
country. He played the role of a central defender for his club, Entente
sportive de Sétif. He is the current president of the ES Setif and ever since
he was made the president of the club, the club has been one of the best clubs
in the country. He retired from active football on the 1st July 1991
at the age of 30.
