Si-Tahar Chérif El-Ouazzani was born on the 10th July 1967 in Oran. He is a former football player from Algeria. He played the role of a midfielder for the clubs and the Algerian national team and he is the current manager of MC Oran. He is the elder brother of Abdennour Cherif El-Ouazzani, a current midfielder of the club, MC Oran.

Career
Si-Tahar Chérif El-Ouazzani started his career with the club in his hometown, MC Oran in the year1983. In the first season he played with the club, he led the club to their first league title in 17 years. A season after his first season with the club, he led the team to the final of the African Cup of Champions clubs and they controversially lost the game on penalties to Raja Casablanca. He played one more season with the club and in the last season with the club, he won the 1990 African Cup of nations before he went on to sign for Aydinspor, the Turkish club. He spent two seasons in Turkey and returned to his former club. In the season he returned to MC Oran, he led the club to the to the second league title before he left again to Raja Casablanca, a Moroccan club. After two trophy less seasons in the club in Morocco, he went back to MC Oran. He led his club to the Algerian Cup in the year 1996 and also back to back Arab Cup Winners Cup in the year 1997 and in the year 1998. The following year, MC Oran also won Arab Super Cup as they defeated Syrian Side Al Jaish in the final of the tournament. He was with the club, MC Oran until he retired in the year 2002. In the year 2003, he became the head coach of OM Arzew and was in control of the team until February 2008 when he was made the head coach of his former club, MC Oran.
