Begolli was the most famous and popular actor and director of movie in
Yugoslavia together with Bekim Fehmiu.

He
went to a high school in Pristina and finished the academy of film in Belgrade
in the year 1966. Begolli was featured in more than 60 movies in the country,
beginning with Veljko Bulajić's Pogled
u zenicu Sunca in the year 1966.
In the later part of 1980s, he went back to Kosovo
from Belgrade, and it was there that he worked as a professor at the University
of Pristina at the faculty of Drama. The last lead role he played was in Ekrem Kryeziu's Dashuria e Bjeshkëve të Nemuna and he had
his last piece in Etjet e Kosovës. He died after a long battle with cancer in
the year 2007.
