Elia Zaharia was born on the 8th February 1983 in Tirana, Albania. She is an actress from Albania and she is also a dancer.
She is the daughter of Gjergj Zaharia and Yllka Mujo. Her father originates from the settlement Kosova, in Qender Piskover, Permet region of the southern part of the country. The Mujo family is from the Podgorica, Montenegro and later relocated to the northern city of Albania, Shkoder at the time of the Monarrchist era.
In May 2010, Elia turn out to be engaged to the Prince Leka of the country, the ony son and child of Leka, the crown Prince of Albania and the grandson of Zog of Albania.
Education
• 2007-2010: she attended St. Denis University, Paris 8 (theatre)
• 2005-2007: she was with Cours Florent (Private acting)
• 2003-2005: she was among National Conservatory of Bordeaux (art drama)
• 1998-2002: she was with Arts Lyceum Jordan Misja (Art, Scenography)
Theater
• Elia is teaching the students f theatre arts in the Marubi University in the fine art of acting, while she was working on the plans of building a royal theatre that will be fashioned to assist the young actors and actresses of the country.

Music. From a tender age, she exhibited vocal talent for light music of the country. From the year 1999 to the year 2002, Elia participated in the successful girls group that was known as Spirit Voice, and that gave her the chance to participate in the concert all through the regions of the country, plus the war torn in Kosova, where her group was lively in assisting the humanitarian aid events.
Cinema
Elia took after her mother’s footstep in the movie industry of the country, and she too part in numerous short script movies in France, while she was assisting the project of her brother in Albania. Some of her major movie projects are;

• 2005: main role in « Solitaire » by Bahram GUERANFAR
• 2002: main role in « Lule të kuqe, lule të zeza » by Melvan Shanaj
