Club Career
Bushi has enjoyed a long playing profession that has ensured him playing for 12 several football clubs in 6 different nations. He began with the playing with KF Tirana in his country. Then he made a move to Hungary to play for Szegedi LC. He made a move to Germany in the year 1994 to play for FC Remscheid. He then came back to his country to play for KF Tirana, Flamurtari Vlorë and again for KF Tirana. He was transferred to Greece to play for Apollon Smyrni F.C and then he was landed to play in the Bulgarian side, Litex Lovech. After his term in Bulgaria, he made a move to Turkey to play for Adanaspor, Istanbulspor and Trabzonspor before he came back to Istanbulspor. After several years of playing outside the country, he came back to his country to play for Partizani Tirane. And then he went to to Greee again to play for AE Lavadiakos. After that he played for Apollon Kalamarias. He went back to Greece in the year 2008 to play AE Lavediakos
After a long run of about 13 years outside his country, Bushi made a return to the football of Albania to the club that he started his football and where he played last in the year 1997. He entered a deal with KF Tirana on the 31st August 2010 and was shown to the media together with Devi Muka. Though he was being offered some invitations by some foreign teams, he felt he had a moral debt to his team, KF Tirana, and that is to end his career where he started it, and this was the exact decision that gained hi the Swan d’Or from the Football Association of his country to recognize his services to the football of the country. His first game for the club after 13 years out of the country was that game he played in the match against Skënderbeu Korçë, and he came into the match as a substitute at the 65th minute of the game and the game ended 2-1 in favor of their opponent.
International Career
Bushi was a member of the national team of the country and he was the all-time highest goal scorer for the country with 14 goals until the match against France in the year 2011 when Erjon Bogdani became the new holder of the record with 15 goals to his name for the country. He played 67 games in total for his country and he the fourth highest player in the history of the nation’s football, behind Foto Strakosha, Altin Lala, and Igli Tare.
