A reggae scene has been thriving in the
Virgin Island, particularly in the Island of St. Croix. The Virgin island
reggae scene has attained music fame across the Lesser Antilles, Puerto Rico,
South America, Europe and United States. Popular reggae musicians from the
Virgin islands include Emmanuel, Inner Vissions, Pressure, Army, Midnite,
Dezarie, Abja, De Apostle, Bambu Station, Niyorah Jah Criox, Revalation, Iba
Wicked, Jah Rubal, Sabbattical Ahdah, Eno and many others. The reggae music of
the St. Criox has a unique origins feeling is rigidly originated in Rastafari.
A popular recognized reggae label in St. Croix is known as I Grade Records, who
have produced countless Midnite releases, two Dezarie albums, Niyorah albums,
Army albums and Abja albums. Bamboo Station guitarist known as Tuff Lion along
with Laurent Alfred of I Grade Records release many of their tracks.
