Psychedelic
rock became the genre closely tangled with the youth ethnic. This emerged from
the British invasion of the blues during in the middle of the years, when
ensembles such as The Beatles, The Who and Rolling Stones leading the charts
and only a few American ensembles such as The Mamas & the Papas, and The
Beach Boys, could contest. This became linked with the hippies and the anti-war
trend, civil rights, feminism and environmentalism, paralleling the same emergence
of the Afrocentric Black Power in soul and funk. Occasions like Woodstock
became describing signs of the generation known as the Baby Bommers, who were
born after the following of the World War II and became the age in the mid to
late 60s.

Later
in the year, psychedelic rock and the youth ethnic disintegrated. Heavy metal,
punk rock, singer- songwriters and progressive rock emerged and the association
between music and social activism hugely vanished from renowned music.
