Pal Mirashi was born
on the 13th December 1925, and he died on the 13th
October 2001. He is a former footballer from Albania. He played the role of a
striker for the national team of the country. He is known for participating in
the 1946 football match that took place between Albania and Yugoslavia, which
was the first official match that the country played. He played 8 matches for
the national team of the country and scored 4 goals.

Biography
Mirashi was born on
the 13th December 1925 in Shkoder. He was born into a poor family,
where most of his siblings died as infants. The name of his father is Mirash
Mirashi and the mother, Mrike Mirashi, and apart from Pal, they are other three
boys that became soldiers in the family. Ndue, Zef and Gjon.his father was born
and raised in Dukagjin highlands though he moved to the centre of Shkoder in
the year 1920, it was there that he worked as a handyman, and who is said to be
a simple man, loving and generous.
As at when Pal was 9,
he watched football with his neighborhood friends, which are being played
inside the city as they wished that they could play football one day. He
started playing football when he was attending primary school and together with
his friend in the high school. When he became 15, he created a football team
that is called Dodona. With Dodona, he played football against other local
football sides and also the occupying Italian troops in the country.
In December 1940, the
Facist Federation arranged for a youth football competition in the state,
Shkoder, where the teams mainly consisted of high school and workers clubs.
Eventually, Mirashi was among the workers team that lost 3-1 to the high school
selection.
At the ending part of
the Albanian Civil 1943 to the year 1944, Mirashi was named to be in the 6th
brigade of the 6th division of the National Liberation Army, where
he toured through the Balkans fighting with the UNC together with the communist
government of the country. Apart from being in travelling and at war, he still
managed to play football anywhere he went to, playing in the friendly match
that was played by his country against Yugoslavia. He played against Albanian
speaking cities like Ohrid, Strugë, Prishtinë and Ferizaj. With Ferizaj, he was
among the team that played against the Yugoslav soldiers of the 44th
division, and the match finished 2-2 with Mirashi scoring the two goals for the
Albanian.
