Club Career
Duro began his professional football career in the year 1996, and he started with the playing for KF Elbasani. He played the following clubs inside his country, KF Elbasani, KF Tirana, KS Vllaznia, KF Partizani Tirana. In turkey he played for Samsunspor, Galatasaray, Malatyaspor and Çaykur Rizespor, and he played for Arminia Bielefeld. In the German Bundesliga. In the 2007/08 season, he bagged 15 goals for his club, KF Tirana, and that made him the joint top goal scorer of that sesson. In June 2008, he was transferred in Cyprus to AC Omonia Nicosia. In the 2009/10 season, he played for Apollon Limassol in Cyprus and he won the Cyprus cup with the club. Two years after playing in Cyprus, he was moved to Austria in August 2010. He made a year contract with LASK Linz, the Austria Bundesliga side. Duro went back to his country in September 2011 to his former football club, KF Tirana for the third stinit in the football club. He signed two-year deal with the club on a free transfer with the club after agreeing terms with the directors of the club.
On the 17th May 2008, Duro signed a two-year contract with Cypriot outfit AC Omonia Nicosia, a contract that should keep him in Cyprus until the year 2010. Duro played his first match for the club on the 17th July 2008 at home in the UEFA Cup, a match that was played against KF Milano Kumanovo, a Macedonian club with several Albanian footballers. The game finished 2-0 in favor of his club and he created an impression to the fans and the coach of the club with his football display that kept him on the pitch for 90 minutes of the game. In the next round of the UEFA Cup, his team travelled to Greece to play AEK Athens. Duro was in the pitch for over 75 minutes in a match that manufactured a chock as his club beat the home side with a goal. The return leg of the match proved to be the best match that Duro has played in his career. His team needed at least a draw to win the game and he scored the first goal of the match, which was also the first goal of his cclub in the 11th minute of the game, though the opposition scored an equalizewr in the 16th minute of the game. Duro scored another goal in the match in the 70th minute of the match. Even though the game finished 2-2, AC Omonia pushed through to the next stage of the competition.
The next round opf the competition was so hard as Omonia was drawn with Manchester City and their newly found billions. In the 49th minute of the first leg of the game, Duro scored a goal against Manchester city, but Jo of Brazil scored two goals gto win tha match for Manchester City. That was the third goal he scored for his club in that season.
In the summer of the year 2009, Duro made a move to Apollon Limassol on a two-year contract. He started well with a new team and won the hearts of several fans of the club. For the club, it was the most important transfer of the season.
Duro went back to KF Tirana in his country in September 2011. He signed a two-year contract with the club on a free transfer after agreeing in personal terms with the directors of the club.
International Career
Duro has played 78 games for the national team of his country and he has scored 6 goals for the team. He scored the first goal for the country in a match that was played against Russia on the 16th October 2002 in a 1-4 loss in Russia. On the 4th September 2004, he scored in a match that ended 2-1 against Greece at Tirana. Duro I s considered to be one of the best footballers that has been manufactured from the country.
