The Tanzanian national anthem is known as Mungu Ibariki Africa (which means God Bless Africa), it was composed by South African composer known as Enoch Sontonga in the year 1997. The song was ANC’s official chant and later became the National Anthem of South Africa. The chant is also the national anthem of Zambia. Swahili words were set to this song.
