Gilman Lika

Gilman Lika was born on the 31st January 1987 in Shkoder. He is a footballer from Albania. He is presently playing for Flamurtari in the superliga of the country. His main position in the pitch is on the left side of the midfield, though he can also play the central midfield role.

Early Life

Lika began his football career with the club, KS Vllaznia Shkoder. Two years after working through the ranks of the club, he was promoted to the senior team of the club in the 2005/06 season when he was 18. He played his first game for the club in the superliga of the country in the match that was played against KS Lushnja on the 18th September 2005. The match finished 3-1 in favor of his clu, and he came into the match on the 89 minute of the game. He played 28 games for the club in that season. He scored his first goal for the club in the match that was played against KS Dinamo Trana on the 29th April 2006. Lika came into the match on the 46th minute of the match and scored the goal of the on the 86th minute f the game. At the time he was in Vllaznia, Lika manufactured several great skills and totally, he played 77 matches for the club and scored 14 goals for the club in the superliga of the country. 

Together with some other players from Vllaznia Shkoder, Admir Teli as well as  Xhevahir Sukaj, he made a move to the Turkish club, Hacettepe Spor Kulubu on the 4th August 2008. Since he went to the club in the year 2008, he has managed to play only 19 matches for the club and has scored just 2 goals for the club. He made a move to Boluspor. He scored twice in the first match that was played by the club, and he scored a goal in the second match and he is the top scorer in the Bank Asya 1.Lig. After a season with the club, he made a move to Divarbakirspor

He went back to his country to play for KF Tirana the next season, he signed 2 ½ year contract with the club. His first game for the club was on the 31st January 2011. It was a match that was played against Dinamo Tirana; he helped his club, win the game with 2-1. On the 7th April 2013, he scored a great freekick in a match that was played against KF Tirana. 

International Career

Lika is currently a member of the U-21 nation al team of the country. He played his first match for the national team of the country in the match that was played against Turkey. The match finished in a draw, though he began the game. He was replaced in the 55th minute of the game. He has played 9 matches for the Under-21 national team of the country, and he is one of the best players in the team. He played 4 games for the Under-19 national team of his country. 

Lika p-layed his first game for the senior team of the country in the friendly match that was played against Azerbaijan on the 19th November 2008 with the call up by Arie Haan. He came into the match in the 73rd minite of the game for Klodian Duro and the match ended 1-1. His first competitive match for the national team of the country was the match that was played against Malta, and he began the game on the left side of the 5 man midfield and assisted his country to a goalless draw at the end of the match.
