musician and composer. He is a highly much-admired music producer and Goodwill
and peace Ambassador for his country, Afghanistan to the United Nations.
Extensively popular, Nashir has earned affection for not just his music but
also partisanship. Nashir has fan base that stretches from his native
Afghanistan to Central Asia, Iran, Pakistan and spreading to the West among the
Afghans. He sings in many language including Urdu, Pashto, Dari Persian,
English and Uzbek.

EARLY YEARS AND PERSONAL LIFE
Nashir was born in Kabul in
Afghanistan, to the Afghan Pashtun family that is instigating from Kunduz.
Farhad’s blood heredity can be outlined to the Nashir Khans. Nashir is the
grandson of Sher Khan Nashir. Darya went to the Sher Khan School. Later he
graduated from the Habibia High School. After his high school, Nishir registered
in the Polytechnic University of Kabul and School and then Kabul University.
While attending to the University of Kabul, Nashir discovered his first
professional band called ‘Goroh-e-Baran. Initially, the band was known as
Halqahai Tilayee, though new comers to the band settle to the other name of the
band. The band was not so successful, because of the non-traditional music;
meanwhile, it did familiarize the pubic with the faces of the singers that are
affiliates. Nashir who is still involved in his music career, Darya kept on
with his studies in the college. At that time, he wrote music for other
musicians under the fictitious name Abr. In the year 1988, Darya became a
professor at the university and he was teaching the Western classical music for
one year before he left for Europe.
After traveling via Prague and
Hamburg, Nashir reached in Paris, where he would see Sultana Emam. The two of
them got married in the year 1993 and moved to the United States in the year
1995, where they still reside in the state of Virginia. In the year 1996, they
gave birth to a son called Hejran Darya, also commonly called the Pothead Hindu.
CAREER
During the 1980s, his focus was his
edification and his singing career did not emerge into an established
profession. Nashir, who was engaged with the Rain Band was also acknowledged
just for a single part of the entire group. Meanwhile, after his emigration
from the country and the dissolution of the band group, he engaged on a solo
profession.
Since his television debut on his
country’s TV network in the year 1980, Nashir has released more than 24 albums,
having the acclaimed one being manufactured in exile, several of which is about
the soviet invasion of the Afghanistan and leading to misfortunes of the
war-torn nation. Majority of the music is made to assist the Afghan and bring
unity to the people of his country. His album that was released in the year
2003, called Salam Afghanistan, mainly deals with the themes of the unity of
the country. These efforts has gained him popularity band the Best Singer of
the year title in his country and recently in Copenhagen in Denmark. His music
were based on many dialects of the country and also in the Uzbeki and in the
Hindi dialect. Nashir started playing music in his country’s classical and the
Indian classical music since the year 1978. Nashir intends to enlarge his
acquaintance in his realm very well. Most of his vocal works are done according
to the rules of the Hindustani classical music.
In the year 2008, Nashir dropped his
international CD HA! The video from his album called HA! was released on the
National TV of his country that was a hit among the people that are in the
country and around the country.
Apart from the latest album, Nashir
has several hits like the Ghamgen Kabul, Khalwat E Ku Ke Khayalat, Salam
Afghanistan and Donya Gozaran.

lyrics for Through Her Eyes, a movie by Mithaq Kazimi in the year 2007.
