The
famous influences can also be heard in the latest collection, some of which were
borrowed from urban current gospel, some so-called current Christian music from
the United States, and some from Zambian renowned phrases. The use of the electronic
instruments and guitars also made its way into the church. The movement of the
influences between the church music and the renowned realm cam also heard in
recordings by orchestras such as Zambian Acapella, the Glorious Ensemble and
Glorious Hosanna Ensemble.

The
influence of the Euro-American hymnody is also proving in the music of many
Zambian worshippers. Hymns from the British and American hymnals remain part of
musical structure of many churches, and many accordion practices are originated
from the western hymn influences. Among the Seventh-day Adventists Church, a
special system of the notation known as Tonic Sol-fa is used to spread hymns.

in the 19th century. The Heritage Singers Choir and Heritage
Brothers of the SDA church assisted promote this type of accordion music.
