in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg. The metal and rock music festival Wavejam Openair is
held in every year in Balzers. Musical organizations include the Liechtenstein
musical company. The Liechtenstein radio is the largest radio station in the
country and it is known across German-speaking Europe. There are more than 400
music associations in Liechtenstein, which include the musical company and the
international Josef Gabriel Rheinberger society.
The
music school of Liechtenstein is the most important music education institution
in the country. It has is headquarter in Vaduz, in the home where Josef
Rheinberger was born in the year 1839. The music school of Liechtenstein also collaborates
with the public schools in providing music education for the younger students.
