Though
rock was not extremely famous until the 70s, there were new artists in France
as the psychedelic rock style was peaking worldwide. Jean-Pierre Massiera’s Les
Maledictus sound in the year 1968 and Aphrodite’s Child’s 666 were the most
powerful. After came groups like Martin Circus, Magma, Au Bonheur des dames,
Telephone, Noir Desir Trust and musicians Marcel Dadi, Paul Personne and Bireli
Lagrene.
