Hambuger schule has been a significant part of Germany’s youth and gave the term Pop a new definition, as now it was ok (or cool) to sing in the German language. Hamburger schule also includes intellectual lyrics with postmodern theories and social criticism, some of the important musicians such as Tocotronic, Die Sterne and Blumfeld.
