The shurangiz is a new Iranian musical instrument. The shurangiz is a member of the lute family of musical instrument that is developed under the supervision of the Iranian musician known as Hossein Alizadeh. The musical instrument has skin face, six strings and a longer finger fingerboard and increased number of frets when it is being compared to the setar.
