The rondador is a set of chorded bamboo panpipes that manufactures two notes at the same time. The musical instrument is made up of pieces of cane that is placed side by side in order of size and closed at one extreme, and it is performed by blowing across the top of the musical instrument. The musical instrument is taken to be the national musical instrument of Ecuador.
