In
spite their relative insignificance outside the Benin, the tout puissant groups
poly rythmo are still a household name in Contonou and were one of the well-
known creative groups ever in Africa with more than 50 full length LPS and
hundreds of 45s. Recently, however, the orchestra which has begun to reach audience
internationally through the CD re-issues of their work. As this maximized, they
have in the recent years arrived both England and the United States, which
according to a concert it is review in the New York Times, and the band on the very
short list of the world’s greatest music group.

The
Beninese guitarist Lionel Loueke, who is one of the main significant musicians
in jazz, and was successful in fusing African influences with modern jazz. Loueke
recently lives in the York and is a member of Herbie Hancock’s group.
In
the year 1994, the young artists decided to make the professional music, Zeynab
Ouloukemi Abiba, who was born in Abidjan, has been proven through different
songs and singles. In the year 2001, Zeynab released intore her first song in
the year 2002, she released rhythm and blues, a bridge between RnB and the
Beninese culture. Zeynab released a second concert music, revolutions outside
of the Benin and a Kora trophy nomination.
