The Tulum also called guda in Laz is a bagpipe musical instrument that is said to have originated from turkey. It is drone less and has two parallel chanters and is always played by the Laz and Hamsheni people as well as the pontic Greeks. It is a well-known musical instrument in the music of Pazar, Hemsin, Ardesen, Findikli, and Hopa and also some other district of Artvin and in the villages of the Tatos range of Ispir. The Tulum has a way of imposing its style on all the dance and entertainment music of the people who has it as part of their culture.
