Biography

Dante Spinetta was born on the 9^th December 1976. He is the son of one the most influential rock musicians of the Latin America called Luis Alberto Spinetta. At the age of 14, he started his recording of hip hop tunes, displaying his interest in the music pattern that was at that time not usual for the LatinAmericas.

In the year 2001, he got married to a choreographer called MajoCarnero and had a son called Brando de Dios and a daughter called Vida Uniqua.

Musical Career

Dante Spinetta joined Emmanuel Horvilluer in the year 1990 to form the famous hip-hop duo IllyaKuryaki and the Valderramas. Together with them, he recorded 7 albums and got many awards including the Gold and platinum albums. After ten year, they split and they decided to continue as soloist.

Dante Spinetta’s first album called Elevado was dropped in the year 2002. The album is made up of 17 tracks that are recorded in Buenos Aires and edited in Miami. The selected first single that was released for the album was called Donde Vas and was launched with a promotional video clip. In the year 2007, he dropped his second album called El Apagon, in the album; he experimented with the elements of reggae and added hip-hop rap patterns that he used in his previous album.

He recorded with some other artists like JulietaVenegas and Tony Touch.
