more available to younger masses. Gate combined folk music with metal and
became very famous. Lumsk is another ensemble that combines Norwegian
traditional folk music with metal. The very popular Sami singer is known as
Mari Bonie, who sings a type of simple folk-rock with joik origins. Karl Seglem
is one of the Norwegain artist and composer who play sax and bukkehorn. Sofia
Jannok is also a famous Sami current musician. A popular folk rock ensemble
known as Plumbo has made an impact at the last few eras with songs such as
Mokkammann and especially Ola Nordman which was their song of choice when they
take place in Melody Grand Prix 2012.
