a local wire networks, satellite and the internet also. The WFMU radio station
is from Jersey City, WSOU which is from Seton Hall in South Orange in New
Jersey (the winner of the awards on publication like Friday Morning Quarterback,
the College music journal and album network) and WPRB which is from Princeton
are the three most popular independent/ college radio stations in America.
Newark’s WBGO is one of the country’s most significant independent jazz
stations. Also WRPR which is from Mahwah has also achieved significance for its
rock programs.
The
internet radio station also play a major role in New Jersey music scene, for
instance, the Blowupradio.com, an internet station committed to underground the
Jersey rock, which has been contributing to the New Jersey’s music scene the
year 2000.
