Maria Perschy

Maria Perschy was born on the 23^rd September 1938; she died on the 3^rd December 2004. She was an Austrian actress.

Career

Maria Perschy completed her education and moved to Germany for further training that led to movie profession. The first major success she had been with Nasser Asphalt and it was there that she performed together with Horst Buchholz. She performed in a good number of American movies and the first notable role she played was in the 1962 movie called biopic Freud and the 1964 Rock Hudson comedy movie called Man's Favorite Sport?

By the late 1970s, her career slowed down and the only United States appearances she made were short roles in the TV shows of the country like Hawaii Five-O and General Hospital.

While she was shooting in Spain, Maria Perschy suffered a burn injury from an accident that needed many operations before she could continue with her acting career. She went back to her native country in the year 1985 and kept with her career in acting in the series of plays and TV series of the country.

Maria Perschy died of cancer in the city of Vienna on the 3^rd December 2004.
