Luisa Geisler

Luisa Geisler was born in the year 1991; she is a Brazilian writer.

At the age of 19, Luisa Geisler won the award of the 2010 Prêmio Sesc de Literatura for the first book she wrote called Contos de Mentira, which was a collection of short stories. The following year, she became the winner of the same prize in the novel genre with her work called Quiçá.

Luisa Geisler was selected to be part of the Granta short story collection for the Best Young Writers of the country in the year 2012 and she was the youngest to be selected.
