Erni Mangold

Erni Mangold was born as Erna Goldmann on the 25^th January 1927. She is an Austrian actress and a stage director. Since the year 1948, Erni Mangold has appeared in the total of 75 movies of the country as well as in TV productions of the country.

Life

Erni Mangold was born into a family of artists. Her father was a painter and the mother was a piano player.

After getting her training at the Helmut Kraus's Drama School, she performed at the Vienna's Theater in der Josefstadt from the year 1946 to the year 1956. From the year 1972, she worked at the Salzburg Mozarteum, and later she taught in the Helmut Kraus's Drama School and also at the Max Reinhardt Seminar. From the year 1984 to the year 1985, Erni Mangold was a professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in the city of Vienna.

She was married to a German actor called Heinz Reincjke from the year 1958 to the year 1978.

As at the year 2011, Erni Mangold resides in Sankt Leonhard am Hornerwald, a little town that is located in Waldviertel, Lower Austria.

Erni Mangold published her memoirs called Lassen Sie mich in Ruhe.
