Vanessa Barbara was the winner of the Jabuti Prize in Journalism in the
year 2009 for the work she did called O Livro Amarelo do Terminal. She also was shortlisted for the Sao Paulo
Prize for Literature in the year 2008 for her first book called O Verão do
Chibo. She was shortlisted as well by the Granta to be among the best Young
Brazilian Novelists in the year 2012.
