Roberto Pettinato became involved in the rock scene of the country in the
later part of 1970s mostly as a journalist with ExpresoImaginario monthly
magazine, and he was the director from the year 1980 to the death in the year
1982. Also he was a player of the musical instrument called saxophone for the
band called Sumo in the 1980s. The band was led by Anglo-Italian called Luca
Prodan.
After the death of
the leader of the band and the dissolution of the group, Roberto Pettinato began to work with Gerardo
Sofovich, co-hosting La
nochedel Domingo in the early part of the 1990s. he later got popularity by
hosting Duro de acostar on the Telefe, it was a mid-night talk show that was
modeled after David Letterman’s.
As an actor, he participated in Primicias, a TV series that was
produced by Pol-Ka and broadcast by Canal 13.
He was also the host of the following programs; Mira quiencanta,
Todos al diván, Petti en vivo in Canal
9,
Un aplausopara el asador in
Canal 13 as well as the ironic IndomablesAmérica
TV
and Duro de Domar.
He is the current
director of the Magazine called La Mano. Since the year 2004, he has been the
host of the successful FM Radio morning show known as El Show de la Noticia.
Roberto Pettinato has dropped an album named Free
Jazz MusicaAnticomercial, and it is an album that has no jazz in it.
