José Carlos FernandesVidigal simply known with the name Lito was born on
the 11th July 1969. He is an Angolan retired
international football player who played the role of a defender for the
national team of the country. He is the current coach of the club CF
OsBelenenses.

Lito has 11 brothers and 4 sisters. 4 of his male siblings are
footballers; Beto, Luis, Toni and Jorge.
Football Career
Lito was born in Luanda. He spent his entire career in Portugal; he
played for the following clubs in Portugal. O Elvas CAD SC Campomaiorense, CF
OS Belenenses and CD Santa Clara. He retired from playing football at the age
of 34 in the year 2003.
Lito was of the Angolan national team from the year 1996 to the year
2001, playing the total of 16 games for the country. He was part of the
national team of the country that played in the 1998 African Cup of Nations.
Coaching Career
Soon after retiring in the year 2004, Lito took up coaching career
beginning with the lowly AD Pontassolense and GD Ribeiroa. In the year 2008, he
joined CF Estrela de Amadora and was the coach of his younger brother. He also
coached Uniaoleiria, Angolan national team in the year 2011 and AEL Limassol.
He is the current coach of Belenenses.
