retired Angolan football player who played the role of a striker for the
country.

The name Montarras is taken from the
fact that as a kid, he suffered a little accidental burns, and is then called
Montarras from the angolna saying, Mano Torras, which means Toasted brother. He
spent most of his playing career with Benfica and was always disturbed by injury
problems.
He started hius senior career with
the club, Alverca in the year 1999 and was with the club till the year 2001. He
played the total of 31 games for the club and scored 9 goals for the club.
Montarras left the club in the summer of the year 2001 and joined Benfica. He
was with the club till the year 2011, playing the total of 101 games for the
club and scoring the total of 29 goals for the club. He moved to Agosto in the
year 2011 and was with the club till the year 2012, but he never played any match
for the club.
He was part of the
Angolan U-20 national team in the year 2001. He started playing for the senior
team of the country in that same year. Montarras
was part of the Angolan national team that played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup
and participated in two African Cups of Nation with the team. Montarras has
four goals to his name after playing the total of 29 matches for the country.
