Hadj Abderrahmane was born in the year 1941; he died on the 5th
October 1981. He was an Algerian actor from Telemly, Algiers. Hadj Abderrahmane
was best known for the skill he has in portraying of Inspector Tahar together
with his shorter sidekick called Yahia Ben Mabrouk, in the exploits of
Inspector Tahar movie comedy series in the later part of the 1960s and in the
1970s.

Biography
Hadj Abderrahmane started as a technical operaror and a cameraman. Hadj
Abderrahmane showed up in the theatre with Allel El Mouhib, a drama teacher
before he started taking part in the adventures of Inspector Tahar.
He played the role of a monk in the play Montserrat by Emmanuel Robles.
He played the role of a parish priest in the movie called Fusil la mere Carare.
His social activities in life, the sort of nature he has and his deepest
feelings were all related to the movie but the performance was all seen as
comical.
In the year 1967, Hadj Abderrahmane played the role of Inspector Tahar in the movie, L'Inspecteur mène l'enquête,
which was directed by Moussa Haddad which procreated many sequels, including Les Vacances de l'inspecteur Tahar in
the year 1973 and L'inspecteur marque
le but of the year 1977.
Hadj Abderrahmane was getting ready to shoot the movie called Le cadaver
du domaine when he died in the year 1981 in Paris.
