Djamel Keddou was born on the 30th January 1952; he died on the 16th July 2011. He was an Algerian international footballer and manager. He spent his entire career with USM Alger and played the total of 25 matches for the Algerian national team as he won a gold medal at the 1975 Mediterranean Games in Algiers. As a manager, he led USM Alger to the Algerian Cup in the year 1988.he was also the coach of JS El Biar and ES Ben Aknoun.
