Tarek "Baresi" Lazizi

Tarek "Baresi" Lazizi was born on the 8^th June 1971 in El Biar. He is a retired Algerian international football player. He played the role of a central defender for the Algerian national team.

Club Career

From the year 1981 to the year 1982, he played for the junior team of the club, JS El Biar.

From the year 1982 to the year 1987, he played for the junior team of the club, MC Alger. From the year 1987 to the year 1996, Baresi played for the senior team of the club, MC Alger.

From the year 1996 to the year 1998, he played for Stade Tunisien.

From the year 1998 to the year 1999, Baresi was with Gençlerbirliği.

From the year 1999 to the year 2002, he played for MC Alger.

Baresi played for Atlantis FC from the year 2002 to the year 2003 and then he made a move to MB Mouira in the year 2003 and was with the club until the year 2005.

International Career

Lazizi has played at all level of Algerian football. He got his first call to play with the senior team of the country in the year 1989 for a mini-tournament in Cameroon in preparation for the 1990 African Cup of Nations. He scored twice for the Algerian national team; the first goal was in the match that was played against Iran in the 1991 Afro-Asian Cup of Nations and the second goal came in the match that was played against South Africa in the quarter finals of the 1996 African Cup of Nations.
