Messaoud Aït Abderrahmane was born on the 6th November 1970.
He is a former footballer from Algeria. He spent most of his playing career
with the club JS Kabylie. He also played for the following teams;
MC Alger and MO Constantine before he retired from active football. He played
the role of a right-back and a centre-back for the clubs.

He played for the
national team of the country from the year 1990 to the year 1993. Aït Abderrahmane was among the national team
of the country that won the 1990 African Cup of Nations and the 1991 Afro-Asian
Cup of Nations.
Aït Abderrahmane was born in Mostaganem and he grew up in town of Issers
Club Career
Aït Abderrahmane began his football career when he was 12 for the Issers’
local club. When he turned 17, he became part of the youth ranks of JS Kabylie.
After spending two seasons with the junior team of the club, he was handed a
promotion to play for the senior team by Mahieddine Khalef and
Stefan Żywotko. At the time he spent with the club, he won some titles, and the
most notable among them is the 1990 African Cup of Champions Clubs.
At the ending part of
the 1994/95 season, he left the club and joined MC Alger and he spent just a
season with the club before he went 0n to join MO Constantine, which was the
club he spent three years with before he retired from active football.
International Career
Aït Abderrahmane
played his first game for the national team of the country at the 1990 African
Cup of Nations. Though he was included in the squad of the tournament, he
exempted himself because of his studies. Rachid Adghigh withdrew because of
injury problem and he was called back to play for the national team in the
competition. On the 8th March 1990, he played his first game for the
national team of the country, starting the last group match against Egypt. He
played the entire match as his country went on to win the game, 2-0. In the
semi-final of the game that was played against Senegal, he started the game on
the bench, but was brought into the game in the 69th minute of the
match. He started in the final against Nigeria and played for 90 minutes as his
team wnet on to win the game 1-0 to lift the continental trophy.
