Ali "Alilou" Bencheikh

Ali "Alilou" Bencheikh was born in the year 1955. He is a coach and a former Algerian football player.

Alilou as he was called by the fan of MC Alger was born in the village of at-waguag in the Biban Mountains of basse kabylie that is near the village of El M’hir daira of the manssourah in the region of Bordj Bou Arreridj. He played his first match for MC Ager as a midfielder at the age of 17 and he went on to win so many titles and awards with the club. He won the African Champions Cup with the club in the year 1976. He was a member of the Algerian national team; he was part of the Algerian team that went for 1982 World Cup and nearly was signed by FC Nantes, a French club, bfore the president of the country, Houari Boumedienne stopped the move. Alilou was 19th in the IFFHS voting for the best footballer of the century for Africa.

From the year 1973 to the year 1988, he played for MC Alger.
