composers, producers and arrangers involved in the pop music scene include
Damir Imeri, Grigor Koprov, Darko Dimitrov and Aleksandar Masevski. Many

The
first Macedonian pop music example emerged in the mid-20th century
and it is known as zabavna muzika. The well-known old-generation artists
include Verica Risteska, Zafir Hadzimanov, Dragan Mijalkovvski and others.
According
to the pattern of the Macedonian pop music, it is a western form of pop music
which influences the folk and oriental music. Several combination of genre like
pop rock, pop rap, ethno-pop and pop folk has also developed.
