The Republic of Macedonia entranced as an independent state at the Eurovision song competition in the year 1998. So far, the highest place was 12th in the Eurovision song competition 2006 final which was the overall best result in the tele-voting years. Recently the Skopje Fest has also serve as the Macedonia’s national final for the Eurovision song competition.
