a linguist, a historian and a writer from Afghanistan.
Early Life and
Education
Ahmad was born in the
year 1937 in Mazeena Rod of Laghman in Afghanistan. He finished his primary
education in the local school and completed his High School eduction in Kabul.
After he had graduated from the high school, he hot an admission to the faculty
of Language Literature in the University of Kabul in the year 1959. Three years
later, he completed his higher education and began working in the same faculty.
In the year 1966, he traveled to Bern in Switzerland and there he finished his
master’s degree course from the University of Bern.
Work Life
From the year 1984 to
the year 1986, Ahmad taught as a guest professor at Humboldt University, Berlin,
Germany.
From the year 1994 to
the year 1996, Ahmad taught as a visiting professor at the University of Peshawar, Peshawar
in Pashto Department..
Academic Work
Ahmad authored more
than 36 book, which included dictionaries.
