Acoustic Romanian pattern of music,
encouraged by American traditional music, with sweet lyrics and it is played
almost entirely with guitar. Generally, it is call to mind as a poetic and
melancholic atmosphere. It appeared during the early 60s, along with the first
releases of Phoenix ensemble. It was popularized later, through the means of
the Cenaclul Flacara, a cultural occurrence from 70s and the first half of the
80s, which was originated by Adrian Paunescu, a Romanian poet. Many of the
Romanian traditional musicians attain confirmation through the Cenaclul Flacara
tren: Mircea Vintila, Florian Pittis, Vasile Seicaru, Alexandru Zarnescu,
Sterian Valeriu, Victor Socaiu and Alifantis.
