Zlatno slavejce (Golden Nightingale) is one of the most notable children’s music festival which holds every year in Skopje that has its long custom in the Republic of Macedonian. Other festivals include the Super Zvezda in Skopje and Si-Do in Bitola Kalinka in Gevgelija. Some of the prominent composers of the children’s songs, producers and arranges include Dragan Karanfilovski Bojs, Mile Sherdenkov, Marjan Necak and Miodrag, Slave Dimitrov, Petar Sidovski and Aleksandar Dzambazov and many others. Several TV shows also features children music. The country also participates in the Junior Eurovision Song Competition and currently gained the best result of 5th place for the 2007 entry in the Junior Eurovision Song Competition 2007.
