Ivy Green was among the first punk ensembles that came from Hazerswoude.
Tedje en de Flikkers is a group of homosexuals (flikkers is Dutch for faggots) from Nijmegen was one of the greatest notorious punk establishment of the Netherlands. They jumped from left side and have their gay trends that flourish in Nijimegen during the 70s and 80s. Their challenging performance is politically more than musically which often resulted in orgies of sex, noise and drugs. They only existed for three year from 1977 to 1980.

The Ex is an Amsterdam group of artists that make something that could be called punk. De Heideroosjes is also a popular Dutch punk rock group that sings in Dutch, German, Limburgish and English.
