Pandza is the modern and most well-known style of Mozambican music that is recognized to be created by Ziqo and Dj Ardiles in Maputo. Pandza is especially popular among the Mozambican youths and it is mix with Marrabenta and reggae. Pandza was derived from Marrabenta but Pandza has a faster tempo with main influences from reggae and some hip hop. Most of the Pandza is mainly song in Portuguese and Shangaan language from Maputo and the lyrics most of the time complicate the social daily life patterns of the young Mozambican. The most prominent Pandza singers in Mozambique presently include Rosalia Mboa, Lizha James, Denny Og, Zigo, MC Roger and Dj Ardiles.
