NYABINGHI DRUMS: Jamaican musical instrument

Nyabinghi drums are membranophones that are played at a groundation ceremony in the Rasta culture. The nyabinghi music is performed in 4/4 time on three musical drums.
1.    The thunder is a double-headed bass drum that is played with the use of a mallet. The strokes are on an open tone on one and dampened strokes on three.
2.    The funde is the middle drum that maintains the dominant heartbeat of the music as the player of the musical instrument makes steady, dampened strokes on one and three.
3.    The repeater is the smallest drum and it is the highest pitched drum among them. This drum tends to play around two to four, with a syncopated feel.
