Independent Music Scenes of Greece

After the late 1970s different independent scenes of marginal musical genres have emergence in Greece (mainly in Athens, Piraeus and Thessaloniki). Most of them were short lived and never gained normal fame but the most prominent musicians/ bands of these scenes are critically acclaimed present and are measured among the pioneers of independent Greek music (each one in their own genre).
