Since 1984, American hip hop has had a main influence, and a hip hop crew, Nuuk Posse, has been one of the most successful orchestras of present years. Other Greenlandic hip hop orchestras/musicians have since then produce songs. These musicians include rappers like Peand-EI, Tomba and Prussic. Their lyrics are more offensive and challenging than those of Nuukl Poss, criticizing the Greenlandic community for abandoning and ignoring their kids.
