Music Culture of Burkina Faso

The culture of the Burkina Faso in the West Africa is also known as the Burkinabe culture. The two key element of the culture in Burkina Faso (a country once called as Upper Volta) are its indigenous masks and dancing. The masks are used in this place of the Western Sahel and they are made for rites of sacrifice to gods and animals spirits in the villages. The native dance on the other hand, is employed to show the villagers desire for blessings by the spirits.
