Tristão de Alencar Araripe Júnior was born on the 27^th June 1848; he died on the 29^th October 1911. He was a Brazilian lawyer, literary critic and a writer.

Biography

Tristão de Alencar Araripe Júnior was born in the city of Fortaleza in the state of Ceara; he was the son of Tristão de Alencar Araripe and Argentina de Alencar Lima, into one of the most prominent families of the country.

Tristão de Alencar Araripe Júnior graduated with degree of Bachelor of Law from Faculdade de Direito do Recife. After two years of graduation, Tristão de Alencar Araripe Júnior moved into the politics of the country. He was the founding member of the Academy of Letters of the country and the Instituto do Ceara. He was also linked with the Historic and Geographic Institute of the country.
