Rosa Albach-Retty

Rosa Albach-Retty was born as Rosa Clara Franziska Helene Retty on the 26^th December 1874; she died on the 26^th August 1980. She was an Austrian movie and stage actress.

Rosa Albach-Retty was the daughter of Rudolf Ratty; she started her stage career in the year 1890 at the Deutsches Theater and also at the Lessing Theater in the city of Berlin. She moved to the city of Vienna and joined the Volkstheatre in the year 1895 and in the year 1903 she joined the Burgtheatre in the city of Vienna. Rosa Albach-Retty appeared in the movie of the country for the first time in the year 1930 in the movie of the country called Money on the Street and her last was in the movie of the country called Congress Dances of the year 1956.

Rosa Albach-Retty was married to an Austro-Hungarian Army officer called Karl Albach. She was the mother of Wolf Albach-Retty, an actor of the country who got married to a German actress called Magda Schneider in the year 1936. She was the grandmother of Romy Schneider and the great grandmother of Sarah Biasini.
