Raymundo Faoro was born on the 27th April 1925 in Vacaria; he
died on the 15th May 2003 in the city of Rio de Janeiro. He was a
Brazilian lawyer, jurist, sociologist, a historian and a writer. He was also
the president of the Brazilian Bar Association.
