Lukas Resetarits was born on the 14th October 1947 in Stinatz.
He is an Austrian cabaret artist and an actor. He is best known for playing the
role of a Police Inspector Kottan in the Austrian TV series called Kotan
ermittelt.

Lukas Resetarits was born in the Austrian state called Burgenland, though
his family moved to the city of Vienna when he was 4 years of age. He attended
the Austrian gymnasium and completed in the year 1965. He studied psychology
and philosophy at the University of Vienna and was at that same time working a
singer, construction worker and a traffic officer at the international airport
of the city of Vienna.
Lukas Resetarits joined the cabaret group known as KEIF in the year 1975.
Lukas Resetarits premeired his first single program called Rechts Mitte Links on the 26th October
1977 in the Konzerthauskeller. He was the main actor in the TV series of the
country called Kottan ermittelt, written by Helmut Zenker and
directed by Peter Patzak from the year 1980 to the year 1983.
Lukas Resetarits has been married since the year 1968 and he has two
daughters.
